Özet
Correlation between body sizes of lepistes (Poecilia reticulata Peters, 1859) varieties which are breeding in Turkey.In this study, 8 varieties of 6 months old lepistes which were marketed in Turkey (called Mavi, Siyah, King Flamingo, King, Sari Flamingo, Kobra, Alman and Inci) were used for correlation analysis between different body measurements.Their results were showed as total length, standart length, body weight, tail height, tail length and body weight in table.Corraletion between body length and body weight were found at inci, sarı flamingo, mavi, alman, king, siyah, king flamingo and kobra 0.85; 0.82; 0.77; 0.76; 0.71; 0.69; 0.66; 0.37 respectively.As a result of this, it is possible to guesse fish weight after looking their body length and then it is able to plan food consumption and selection works.
