Background: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitor, celecoxib, and omega-3 fatty acid on serum levels of interleukin 1-beta (IL-1 beta), osteocalcin (OC), and C-reactive protein (CRP) in experimental periodontitis.
