Summary
Phylus (Teratoscopus) plagiatus (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1835) Material examined Phylinae sp. TURKEY – Artvin Province • 2 ♀♀; Borçka; 5 Sep. 1971; F. Önder leg.; LEMT. Comments A central European species that is not known from the Balkanian or Caucasian regions (Aukema 2023). Önder (1976) recorded this species from Artvin, Turkey. We examined the voucher specimens. Although the specimens resemble P. (T.) plagiatus, they were both females and cannot be reliably identified to species level. Therefore, this species is excluded from the Heteroptera checklist of Turkey.
