<p>Abstract (English) New tendencies in translation studies: The constructivist approach to theatrical translation In the pre-scientific history, the translation of theater plays appears to be an ancient business, in which the discussion about the most appropriate “verbatim” or the “analogous” translation method becomes apparent again and again. Even if translation studies and theater studies have both developed further since then and each developed into an independent scientifically comprehensible discipline, this fundamental discussion is still ongoing; how “free” or how “faithful” a theatrical translation should be to its original text. Based on the basic ideas of the this anthology, this study would like to investigate the current aspects and perspectives of theater translation in translation theory and answer the question to what extent they enrich research and teaching, as well as the training of future translators in their professional practice can represent. However, it should be noted that the basic conception of this study will mainly focus on the translation-scientific theater approaches, while the constructivist approach in translation theory will only be included as an impulse.
