Özet

Doping is a substance used by both athletes and trainers who want their athletes to be successful, doctors, masseurs and audiences aiming to increase the performance by illegal ways. Doping was imposed to athletes as a government policy in some eras, especially in eras of cold war. Doping has been imposed since ancient times and it results in many moralistic and ethical problems. Besides, it affects athletes’ health in a negative way and it causes even death of athletes. Unless a solution is found for doping factors, doping usage will go on. Among these factors, there are many which cause “sportive success anyway” motto and regard the success as the absolute aim, using doping as a tool. New doping methods have come to light thanks to developing technology. The latest of these is gene doping and its damages have not been completely detected yet.
